Crudecast
Crudecast started in 2016 after successful participation in NSF I-Corps competition to accelerate the applications of data-driven innovative technologies in the oil and gas industry. Its current services include data-driven solutions
for sustainability in the energy sector.
Cyrus Ashayeri started Crudecast in 2016. He is currently working as the Principal Technologist at Beyond Limits in Glendale, CA. He holds a Ph.D. in Petroleum Engineering and has a research background in applying Machine Learning to subsurface modeling. He is involved in AI product development and serves as a product owner, managing specialized AI training programs. Cyrus has also worked for a Think Tank, focusing on energy policy initiatives, and has publications covering energy security and sustainability.
In addition to his professional achievements, Cyrus also mentors graduate students and has guest lectured for an Engineering Diplomacy course at USC. He served as a project manager for Chevron's CiSoft research lab at USC, leading a team of graduate students. Outside of work, Cyrus enjoys supporting nonprofit organizations in Southern California.
